Challenge
With 154 luxury rooms and suites that blur the lines between hotel and home with comfort, amenities, and an impressive art collection, clients have come to expect a level of luxury from this boutique hotel tucked in the heart of Cherry Creek. To continue attracting new visitors and meet the expectations of returning customers, the hotel needed to find a lasting solution to their challenge of maintaining the cosmetic appeal of their walls.
Solution
Due to the high traffic areas being addressed, 6 floors of hallways and elevator bays, DCPS selected a sustainable premium paint solution, with high-quality performance durability, longevity, and specifically designed for commercial interiors. The abrasion resistance formula will help to maintain their upscale and luxury aesthetic. Additionally, DCPS completed removal of existing wallpaper and completed drywall repair due to the wallpaper removal process.
The DCPS team continuously coordinated with the client throughout the project to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations, adjusting the floor repair schedule when necessary due to occupancy. We started by using multiple methods to remove the wallpaper from interior hallways and elevator bays, to ensure a clean and easy removal. Our team then repaired drywall and failing caulk where necessary and painted the designated areas.
