This strategic hire underscores DCPS’s significant focus on enhancing safety on job sites, protecting both employees and individuals on properties they service.
Gio is a bilingual Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional with a strong background in the construction industry. He has supported high-profile projects, including those in airports and data centers, valued at more than $400 million.

His foundational knowledge is underpinned by his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety Applied Sciences and his qualifications are further bolstered by his professional accreditations, including his certifications as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
