Denver, CO – November 21, 2025
DCPS, a leading commercial property services contractor, announced a company-wide food drive to support Growing Home’s Food Pantry – weeks ahead of Giving Tuesday on December 2nd, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening local communities. The early launch underscores the company’s belief that meaningful impact shouldn’t hinge on a calendar event. When a community need is clear, waiting simply isn’t part of the strategy.
The initiative focuses on collecting non-perishable foods that directly align with the pantry’s most urgent needs. All collected items will be donated directly to Growing Home, an organization working to advance access to food, housing, parenting education, and lifelong stability. DCPS will donate 606 pounds of food to help stock the pantry and support families experiencing food insecurity.
“Giving Tuesday is a great concept, but there’s a flaw in thinking generosity should be reserved for one designated day,” said Dale Heims, Owner at DCPS. “We didn’t wait because our community can’t wait. This initiative reflects one of our core values—community—and partnering with Growing Home allows us to contribute to solutions that address immediate needs and long-term stability.”
DCPS encourages partners, clients, and community members to consider how they can contribute—today, not later. To learn more about Growing Home and its programs, visit their website.
