DCPS Welcomes Hospitality Industry Veteran David Brinkey as Newest Relationship Manager

In this key role, David will strengthen DCPS’s commitment to serving property owners and managers in the hospitality sector across Colorado.

David brings decades of operational leadership experience in the Denver hospitality market. A longtime active member of the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, he has built lasting relationships within the state’s hospitality community.

His passion for the industry began at age 15 and has since evolved into a career dedicated to enhancing guest experiences and operational performance. Most recently, David served as General Manager of The Westin Westminster and has held multiple General Manager positions with respected brands such as Marriott Hotels and Sage Hospitality. His leadership experience includes new property openings and successfully managing operations through extensive renovations, demonstrating his experience leading through complex projects—which now makes him a valuable asset in providing those same services to the hospitality sector.
